Stella was a fabulous hotel. We really appreciated the extra effort the staff went to to organise transfers. Location and facilities superb!
Sightseeing, Relaxing on the beach, Visiting pool bars, Eating and drinking
Pool was too small for the number of guests, subsequently we were not inclined to stay at the hotel during the day and spend any money there
Only the personnel attitude
No air conditioning, no wifi, no bath soap, no hand soap in the restroom etc. Hot water in the shower after 4-5 minutes. No television set. Timer of the microwaves broken. Position indicated in the map is wrong. The beach is very little, dirt and full of stones. Absolutely not recomended for summer vacation. They required to pay in cash. No credit card and no receipt!
as far as greek self catering goes the stella is the best i have stayed in the staff are freindly and the rooms have everything that is required and also kept spotlessy cean i would recomend the stella to anybody
Good balance of price, comfort, position
the washbasin in the bathroom was too small
The location was excellent very central, extremely friendly and clean hotel.
Could do with help taking luggage up to room, as no ramps to rooms and if you have any health issue carrying cases up three flights of stairs difficult. Would be better to have tolilets just for pool area, when using the toiltets in the reception they were always wet through from people using them from the pool which was not nice.
The offered transfer to and from the airport. Clean pool area and a nice bar. Nice and quiet.
The cleaning of the rooms wasn´t the best. There were black little ants all over in the hotel room. Even on our tooth brushes. When I asked in the reception if they could help me - with some kind of spray or something -they gave the advice that we should go and buy some ourselves. Hmm...not what I had expected.
The 3rd floor sea view studio room was roomy, very comfortable and well equipped, i.e. racks to hang things, hangers in wardrobe, more than 2 mugs and plates, third bed that worked nicely as a couch. Nice thick curtains that allow sleeping late. Good balcony, proper wall between neighbours. Hotel's location is excellent, two shops and bakeries around corner and plenty of restaurants, 10 minutes walk to beach. Airport pickup service worked fine.
Costly air conditioning. Hotel's restaurant served food only until 2 p.m, after that just pizza, toasties etc. Cleaning staff were too eager to barch in with their own keys after knocking once and didn't understand English.
Very friendly and affordable accommodation. 5/10 minutes walk to the beach. Pleasant rooms with airco and kitchenette. We only stayed for a couple of days because we rented a house in a complex. I lost my watch, I thought in the hotel, but it could have been anywhere. They traced me in our new location after they found the watch and phoned the caretaker of the complex. Went through a lot of trouble. Thanks a million. There are still honest people in this world.
Staff very friendly nice snack food in bar, drinks resonably priced and the hotel restaurant next to supermarket and the hotels restaurant in Lindos was superb, Pefklos is definateley a place I would go back to especially the Stella Hotel visited there in September this year 2011, due to cicumstances we could only stay for two nights but would go back for a holiday. .Allan & carol Black
Cleaning staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Very nice lady.
Quite noisy during the night while the hotel is situated between two streets. Buses, scooters and drunken people coming back from the centre after midnight made it hard to get a good night sleep. Airco was not included in the room price. We had to ask for clean towels on the fifth day of our stay.
